Zebra Succulent (Haworthia - Southern Africa)

Light - Thrives in bright indirect to direct light. Can tolerate more medium indirect light than other common succulents.

Water - Water every 2-3 weeks in direct light, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.

Pet Friendly - This is a pet friendly plant.

Jade Plant (South Africa)

Light - Thrives in bright indirect light to full sun. Not suited for low light.

Water - Water every 2-3 weeks allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light conditions and less often in lower light.

Not Pet Friendly! Could be toxic if ingested. 

Star Cactus (Haworthia Retusa: Riversdale, Western Cape Province, South Africa)

Light - Prefers medium to bright indirect light; can tolerate low indirect light but avoid direct sun exposure.

Water - Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out halfway between waterings. Increase frequency in brighter light and decrease in lower light. During summer, water evenly to saturate the soil; in winter, reduce watering to every other month.
